
Shots ring out in the Capital City, sending two men to the hospital.
The shooting happened around 1 p.m. Friday afternoon on Booker Street.
Jackson Police Officer Colendula Green says 38-year-old Tony Carter was shot in the groin and 51-year-old James Triggs was shot in the right leg.
Both are listed in stable condition at UMC.
Right now the only information police have regarding a suspect is that the gunman was a black male wearing a black hoodie.
