Boy playing with gun shoots 11-year-old friend - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
Police say a 14 year old boy may have accidentally shot and killed his 11 year old friend today in Vicksburg.
Vicksburg Police have identified the victim as 11 year old Christian Jordan from Kiln, Mississippi which is located in Hancock County.
Investigators say the boys had been at a deer camp in Louisiana when the father of the victim left them inside his truck in the parking lot of Goldies Restaurant.
That's where the unidentified 14 year old was handling a .22 caliber handgun when it went off striking Christian Jordan in the chest.
The father drove his son to the hospital where he died. Investigators say the shooting appears to have been an accident.
Jefferson County Sheriff Peter Walker has identified the woman found dead in the cemetery of East Mount Olive Baptist Church Wednesday night.
