Paul Minor will have a little more than three years to serve in federal prison, and former Harrison County judges John Whitfield and Wes Teel will have each have around 18 months left following resentencing today in Federal Court.
U. S. District Judge Henry Wingate resentenced the three late Monday afternoon, after two days of hearings last week, and another session Monday morning.
Minor was originally sentenced to 11 years. Wingate cut that to 8 years and is giving him credit for the five years he's already served.
Whitfield's sentence was cut from 9 years to 6 years. He also gets credit for the 42 months he's already served.
Teel's sentence was cut from to five years, and he gets credit for the 42 months he's already served.
