JACKSON,MS (WLBT) - The world of healthcare has more than a dozen new professionals entering into the workforce.
During a ceremony at the Jackson Medical Mall, eighteen students received their certificates from the Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program. The CNA Training Program teaches students how to take care of elderly patients and individuals going through rehab. CNA graduate Lekishi Davis says the CNA program has helped move her career ambitions to the next level.
Davis says, "this is very important to be because this is my foundation it's my way of getting to the higher level of nursing that I'm trying to achieve and it is a wonderful start."
The next CNA Training Program session begins on July 25th. Classes are offered at the CNA facility in the Jackson Medical Mall, as well as the CNA center in Itta Bena, Mississippi in the Delta. For additional information on the program, call 601-364-1188 or go online to www.cnatrainingcenter.com.
