Reservoir Patrol Chief Perry Waggoner confirms a drowning at the Reservoir Monday night.

Chief Waggoner says crews are searching for a 28 year old Hispanic male who was swimming at Lakeshore Park.

Crews responded to the call of a possible drowning shortly after 8:00 Monday night.

Officers with the Reservoir Patrol, Reservoir Fire Department and Rankin County Sheriff's Department searched the area for more than two hours.

Divers used sonar to locate the body of the victim.
