
Jackson Police have made an arrest in connection with an attempted carjacking.
A 14-year-old was taken into custody and charged with armed carjacking, robbery, and aggravated assault.
J.P.D. responded to the scene in the 100 block of Galvez Street at the J.D. Food Mart around 3:40 Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators say 61-year-old Harry Williams was sitting in his 91 Honda Accord when three juveniles walked up to his car.
The trio demanded William's vehicle and he was shot in the upper chest.
He is at U.M.C. in stable condition.
Police expect more arrests.
