Shots rang out Saturday night in Jackson injuring a Clinton man.
J.P.D. Investigators said gunfire erupted just before eight o'clock in the 4,000 block of south Prentiss Street.
Twenty-five year-old Crandall Devon Kelly told police he was standing in the yard when he heard three shots.
Two men were standing nearby.
The Hinds County resident was struck once in the left calf.
Precinct Two officer captured one man and took him into custody for questioning.
Kelly remains in stable condition at a local hospital.
A second man remains at large.
Both face aggravated assault charges.
