If you were affected by the Mississippi River flooding, time is running out to apply for government assistance.
July 11th is the deadline to file for disaster assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The flood waters have receded but if you have put off seeking help, you can apply at the Disaster Recovery Center at 2127 Washington Street in Vicksburg.
It is the old Blackburn Motors building.
The center is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
You can apply on line at www.disasterassistance.gov or call 1-800-621-3362.
