RAYMOND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Raymond Police Department is not happy with the Hinds County Sheriff's Department.

Wednesday, a Hinds County deputy and Raymond police officer were involved in a collision on Old Port Gibson Road.

According to Raymond P. D., the sheriff's deputy was at fault in the accident that sent both officers to the hospital.

Raymond Police say the county's insurance is claiming immunity and refusing to pay for any of Officer Tracey Funchess medical bills. And, they will not replace the Raymond officer's car which was totaled.
