RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

15-year-old Briana is excited about going into the 10th grade. She said she is spontaneous and likes doing the unexpected.

She hopes to find an accepting and caring forever family on this week's Wednesday's Child.

Briana likes entertaining and being entertained.

Singing and dancing are two of her favorite things to do. She explained why she believes she's a nerd.

"What I do in school makes me a nerd. What do you do? I love writing. I do spelling bees a lot, and reading contests and stuff," Briana said.

Briana says her favorite subject is English and she enjoys writing so much she writes short stories and essays just for fun.

"Actually I've been in Honors English since 6th grade. It's my favorite subject because I went to spelling bees when I was 8th grade, 6th through 8th grade I competed, I went to district. Right now I'm actually writing a book about my life's story," Briana said.

She believes in justice and says she wants to be a lawyer or prosecutor.

"As I was growing up a lot of guys on our street were doing bad crimes and never got put up for the things, like went to jail for the things they were doing, and I want to bring justice to all the people they hurt and did wrong," Briana said.

Briana says she misses her big sister, Annie.

"I don't get to see her like sometimes it be six months until I can see her again. And I be like oh I miss my sister. I can't tell her happy birthday on her birthdays, which just passed and stuff," Briana said.

If she had to describe her sister in one work, Briana says that word would be….

"Rock. Something that helps me to stand still, to cool me down, someone I can stand on when I need help, to be proud of the things I want to say and do in life," Briana said.

Briana says she only wants to be adopted if she is with Annie.

She says they need stability.

"A family can go skating together, bust our butts together and still laugh about it. A family we can go to the movies and be the only odd ones in there screaming, ahh..ahh.. I just want a family that will love me back just as much as I love them and connect with and enjoy the rest of my life with and I can talk to them about anything," Briana said.

Briana has been in foster care since she was two years old.
