Investigators to question self-confessed serial killer

PEARL, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Investigators from different states around the nation plan to visit a self-confessed serial killer in Mississippi. All because he claimed to have killed women in Georgia, Indiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

Forty-nine year-old Charles Krauss of Tennessee claimed to be a serial killer. He was arrested last Saturday after Pearl Police stopped him while driving a stolen vehicle.

Krauss confessed he killed several women and then later recanted his story. Investigators say some of Krauss' stories sound convincing and others, not so much.

A Knoxville, Tennessee Police spokesman said that three women Krauss claimed to have killed are alive and well.
