Man shot at Jackson gas station

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Jackson man was taken to a local hospital Monday morning after being shot three times in the parking lot of a gas station.

Police say Johnny Johnson, Jr., 35, was shot at Shell station on Terry Road near Silas Brown Street shortly after 8:30.

Jackson police spokeswoman Colendula Green said investigators have not determined a motive in the shooting, and no one has been taken into custody. 

Officer Green said investigators are trying to review surveillance video from the Shell.

Details of the victim's condition were not immediately released.
