A New Hebron woman was killed around 1 p.m. Monday after she lost control of her car on Highway 28, four miles west of Georgetown.
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Odis Easterling tells WLBT News Sara Collins, 43, was traveling in the westbound lane of Highway 28 when her 2008 Chevrolet Impala left the roadway. The car flipped, ejecting Collins.
Corporal Easterling says Collins was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no immediate word on why she lost control of her car.
