RALEIGH, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A seventh person has been arrested in the baseball bat beating death of a Raleigh man.
The Smith County Sheriff's Department has charged Robert Burleson with aggravated assault in the death of 21-year-old Jessie Beech.
Investigators say Beech died from injuries after being beaten with two baseball bats during a fight last Thursday.
Three are charged with murder, and three others are charged with aggravated assault.
Smith County Sheriff Charlie Crumpton says those arrested were involved in a fight near the Smith-Simpson Countyline.
Crumpton says he believes the argument was over drugs.
