Access emergency supplies as storm nears

There may be a need for emergency supplies in as Tropical Storm Lee moves in.

Sutherlands in Pearl has been taking calls about generators. Other supplies that move quickly in storm situations are flashlights, batteries, power cords, chain saws and tarps.

As of late Saturday morning, there had been no rush to get supplies.

 "They wait, uh huh. Unless they absolutely need. The generators, either we sell them or we don't. They sit or you sell them when the storms come," said Sutherlands Manager, Chuck Ellis.

The generators cannot be returned once they're sold.
