Bullet riddled body found on rural road

A man's bullet riddled body was found on the side of a rural Scott County road.

Now authorities are looking for his killer.

Deputy Coroner Phyllis Irby said the body of 20-year-old Darren Ragsdale was discovered on Jane Road near Lake in Scott County.

Law officers found his body Wednesday on a lonely stretch of gravel road.

The Forest man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

Ragsdale may have been dumped on the isolated rural road.

Irby said a passerby spotted his body on the roadside between 8:00 and 8:30.

The coroner believes he was there for less than 24 hours.
