Lee has weakened to a tropical depression and will slowly move across extreme south Mississippi on Labor Day.

Very heavy rain on the north side of Lee will continue to fall and impact much of central Mississippi, where rainfall totals have already exceeded 5" in many areas. Numerous creeks in the Jackson area have been rising quickly.

Widespread storm total rainfall will be on the order of 6"-10" with locally higher amounts.

Isolated, brief, quick spin-up tornadoes will be remain possible the rest of tonight and into Monday morning.

A Tornado Watch is in effect through 7am for areas south of I-20 and east of I-55.
