Umbrella Is A Must...

Posted: Updated:

The moisture will continue to build for the next few days in a row, prompting the need to keep the umbrella handy all week long. Today's rain will be attributed to a trough pushing through the state.

Our chances of rain will increase to 80% today, with some areas of heavy rain a isolated t-storms. There's a slight chance of a few pockets of storms becoming severe; mainly because we have ample moisture and energy expected by the afternoon hours. Tonight we'll stay warm and muggy with at least a 30% chance of rain.

Tomorrow and Wednesday will see a cold front battle for position with some warm air - setting up a stationary front over the state. That's the main inspiration for showers during the rest of the work week. Expect at least a 40% chance of rain until Thursday.
