House burglary suspect arrested after chase

Jackson, MS (WLBT) - A suspected burglar is off the street and in police custody thanks to observant neighbors. 

A Jackson Police Officer spotted a man jumping out of the window of a home on Gentry Street just before 9am this morning.  After a brief foot chase, police arrested the man on Sage Street. Anthony Robinson, a resident of Gentry Street says, "I tried to talk to him to turn himself in. Then I grabbed him but he ended up getting a loose from me.  I ripped his shirt off and he ended up jumping the fence...but he was out of breathe anyway."
