Jackson Man pleads guilty to rape

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Jackson man pleaded guilty to the crime of forcible rape Monday.

Investigators say 33 year old Fredrick Brown abducted a 25 year old Jackson woman in October 2009 and took her to his mother's house where he raped her.

Brown was sentenced to 30 years in custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections with 15 to serve and 15 years suspended.
