When WLBT launched new apps and a new mobile site on August first, many of you complained that the interactive radar wasn't as good as what you were used to. We listened to your comments and we've changed it.

The new interactive module on our mobile site (m.wlbt.com) gives you two zoom levels and a radar loop to track storms. You can also track storms in all directions.

If a front is moving through central Mississippi, you can scroll over to Louisiana on the interactive map and track the storm to Jackson and on into Alabama and other states.

The new iPhone app gives you interactive radar very similar to what we have at wlbt.com and on our First Alert Weather App. You can loop the radar, track storms all across the southeast, and zoom in to street level to see what's coming toward your location.

The WLBT iPhone App is still free. If you already have it, download the upgrade. You can download the app here. In addition, our app will now update automatically, without having to swipe the screen.

You can also head straight for our mobile site at m.wlbt.com to take a look It's ok if you still use wlbttogo.com. It'll take you to the same place.

The Android App upgrade will be available soon.

Check out one of both, test drive them, and let us know what you think of the upgrade.
