CellularSouth changing name to C Spire Wireless

RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

You may have seen the "Coming Soon" commercials and the billboards around town. Now we know what they mean.

CellularSouth is changing its name to C Spire Wireless, effective Monday. In addition, the Ridgeland-based company says it will start offering new, customized services.

According to its website, CellularSouth is the nation's largest privately-held wireless provider. It was founded on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1988.
