Bill Brown receives "Hope Award"

The Hope Award is the highest given by the Alabama - Mississippi Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Thursday night it was presented to Brown Bottling Group President Bill Brown.

The award was presented at the Dinner of Champions held in downtown Jackson, and is awarded to corporate and community leaders who have provided leadership to their communities.

Brown long been active in local community and civic organizations. He is past president of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, The Mississippi Easter Seals Society and the Epilepsy Foundation of Mississippi.

He is currently serving on the Jackson State University Capital Campaign Cabinet and Athletics Commission, as well as the Watkins-Ludlam, LLC Advisory Council.

Brown Bottling Group is headquartered in Jackson, and has offices in Hattiesburg, McComb, Meridian, Natchez and employs more than 450 people.
