Madison Police investigate death

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Madison Police are investigating what they believe is the accidental death of a man found unresponsive at this home.

According to Captain Robert Sanders, officers responded to the scene around 6:30 Sunday evening at 110 Eastpointe Circle.

Police said it is the home of 55-year-old Michael Sam Naples. Paramedics were unable to revive Naples.

A preliminary investigation indicates he fell while cutting limbs on an extension ladder.

Madison Police believe he lost his balance and struck his head on a sidewalk.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
