JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police are investigating the discovery of a body found by owners of a business as they returned to work Monday morning.

Officers were called to 555 Hartfield Street just after 9 a.m. The body of a white male was found lying near a dumpster, behind the YANA Club, a meeting area for people with alcohol dependencies.

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart says the man is a white male in his 50's. She said there appeared to be no trauma, but a full autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death.
