MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say an 89-year-old man died in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Mississippi 63 and Mississippi 613 north of Moss Point.
Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus identified the victim of Tuesday's crash as Frederick Seav of Moss Point. She said he died of blunt-force trauma to the chest area.
Mississippi Highway Patrol Master Sgt. Johnny Poulos tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/r5Mn6j) Seav was northbound on 63 when he attempted to make a left turn into the southbound lane of Mississippi 613.
Poulos said the accident happened when a car, driven by 18-year-old Jessie Lacy III, was southbound on 63 and ran into the right side of Seav's vehicle.
