Students at Madison Station Elementary are excited about a new exercise campaign at their school.
Thursday, the school kicked off the Fuel Up To Play 60 Program.
It's all part of an effort to reduce childhood obesity.
The school was presented with a $3,000 dollar grant check from the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association and the Fuel Up To Play 60 Program.
"It empowers students to make choices, make healthier choices and to be more active. We encourage them to be active 60 minutes every day and to fuel up with nutrient rich foods that are often missing from their diet such as low fat, fat-free yogurt, fruits and vegetables and whole grains," said Greta Heru with the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association.
The program is available to all schools.
