It's one of the few times of the year that much of the state leaves its worries behind and heads to Jackson for that annual two week event called the state fair.
This year is no different.
Near record crowds are enjoying the annual sights and sounds that the first time little ones absorb like little sponges.
The high priced, high calorie, and highly delicious food is bought and eaten like no tomorrow.
Over the years, the rides and the events have become first class.
But, so has the hospitality of the fairgoers.
A big thumbs up to the State Fair Commission and to the officers from a number of agencies well out in front to protect anyone in harms way.
For over 150 years, the state fairgrounds have remained exactly where they've always been.
And some day in the future, the little ones will tell their little ones to load up to go see something they will never forget.
That's my Point of View.
