Yeah, It Really Got That Cold!!!!!!

Posted: Updated:

A very chilly start to the day is courtesy of quick cooling during the overnight period. A combination of high pressure clearing the skies and light winds added to the chilly mix.

Additionally, a predominance of winds from the north following a cold front made for a perfect drop in the temps to the 30s. Today's sunshine will warm us back to the 60s, and it shouldn't be as bad as yesterday's gusty winds; they'll be west at 10-15mph.

Tonight's temps will once again fall into the mid to lower 30s for tonight, high pressure still in full control of our weather pattern. Clear skies during the day and overnight will make for a quiet forecast and relatively light winds that will begin to shift direction by Friday.

Friday the sunshine and clear skies work in our favor, pushing the temps to near 70 degrees. And over the weekend the temps will go up even more; into the upper 70s. Ironically, after a taste of 'winter' temps, early 'summer' weather will return with temps climbing back to the mid 80s.
