Clouds will overspread the area on Sunday as weak upper level system moves over the region. Spotty showers and a few rumbles of thunder are possible west of I-55, but rainfall amounts will be light. There remains some drier air over the eastern half of state which should preclude the disturbance from producing rain showers in that area.
High temperatures will reach the lower 70s Sunday afternoon.
As the disturbance moves out late Sunday, warmer air will move in for the first half of the work week. Highs will be in the lower 80s Monday through Wednesday.
Rain chances return Thursday into Friday.
