Accused child abusers waive preliminary hearing

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The preliminary hearing for a Rankin County couple charged with multiple counts of child abuse has been waived.

Steven Magee and Rebecca Harrell each face 14 counts of felony child abuse.

The victim is Magee's 3-year-old son.

Their case will now be bound over to await the action of a grand jury.

Both will continue to be held without bond.
