JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Another stint of early morning fog has made for a slow driving start to the day, but not for the entire day. Temps started off this morning a tad cooler than expected in the 40s. But the bright and warming sunshine is expected to push the afternoon temps above the norm for this time of the year into the 80s.
Wind will be out of the south at 5-10 mph for this afternoon and this evening.
Tonight it stays clear, and temps falling into the 50s, so it won't be quite as cold for tonight. Tomorrow we'll mainly see sunny skies again, with a very slight chance of fog. The best chances of fog will be in the extreme northern portions of the state.
A front pushing through on Thursday will change everything at once - bringing rain and lower temps immediately into our area. Highs will only reach into the 60s following Thursday afternoon / evening storms.
