
Thick clouds with a slight chance of showers are possible Monday and Tuesday, but the timing of the heaviest rain has changed a little as the main system has slowed and will not arrive until Wednesday. Expect highs to reach in the lower 80s for today!
By Tuesday through Wednesday, showers and thunderstorms will overspread our area. In the mix we can expect some lightning, heavy rain and some gusty winds. Though we will have some ingredients needed for severe weather, there may not be enough to produce widespread severe weather. We're in the thick of our Fall severe weather season though and we will be watching how things develop over the next 1-2 days.
Much colder air will briefly build in for the end of the work week. Over next weekend, warmer weather will quickly return with perhaps some storms for Thanksgiving week.
