The murder trial of Michael Bernard Henry ends abruptly Wednesday in Prentiss.
Just before the prosecution's star witness was set to take the stand, Henry, 41, entered a guilty plea in the 2009 deaths Edward Eugene Redd, 74, and his wife, Cherilene Fuller Redd, 70, in Jefferson Davis County.
Henry was sentenced to 20 years for one count of manslaughter and 5 years for one count of grand larceny, to be served consecutively.
Henry was also sentenced as an habitual offender which means he will have to serve every day of his 25-year sentence.
