Some Byram residents without water Tuesday night

HINDS COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

City of Jackson Public Works crews worked to repair a water line break on a 12 inch water line on Davis Road that is affecting approximately 200 homes in the Byram area.  

The crews expect the water line break to be repaired late Tuesday night. 

Once the line is repaired and water is restored effected residents will be under a precautionary boil water alert. 

Only those residents who were without water Tuesday will be under the boil water alert.

Details of the alert and the exact streets affected are expected to be released Tuesday night once the information becomes available.
