Grandma's hands feed the neighborhood

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

If you're looking for someone who embodies the true spirit of Thanksgiving, look no further than Canton, Mississippi. Her name is Rivea Esco.

She's an 85-year-old grandmother and for 60-years, Mrs. Esco has opened up her kitchen on Thanksgiving day and invited anyone in need, to come in and have a meal, free of charge. It is a meal they won't soon forget.
