Former music producer holds Pearl Christmas parade

PEARL, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Thanksgiving and Black Friday are over, now it's time for the Christmas parades.

In Pearl former music producer Jackie Thompson kicked off parade season with his own version.

A short and sweet parade through the neighborhoods. Some friends helped out, dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus and throwing candy to the kids.

Thompson has held this Pearl Christmas parade for 47 years.
