Spotty Sleet & Sunshine Combo This Week

Posted: Updated:

The cold start to the morning brought with it a brief visit from ole' man winter in the form of frozen drizzle in spots around the state. Morning temps began in the lower 40s, an occasional sleet pellet falling in random areas of cold air. Today's high of 45 degrees will keep us just above the threshold of sustaining any long term effect of the frozen stuff falling early in the morning, winds NW 10-15 mph.

Tonight the precipitation will move to the east rather quickly, and the cloud cover will still be around until late. Temps will fall the near freezing overnight in most areas into the mid 30s. No rain or drizzle is expected and the winds will be moving from the West 10-15 mph.

Tuesday will feature a few clouds and a chilly start. However we'll see the sunshine take over starting in the afternoon hours and staying in full control the entire work week!
