Man shot at Vicksburg gas station

Police are investigating a shooting at a gas station. It happened around 4:00 Monday afternoon at the BP on the corner of Mission 66 and Alcorn Drive.

Lieutenant Sandra Williams of the Vicksburg Police Department says a man was shot in the chest. She did not release his name, but Lt. Williams says he was airlifted to a Jackson hospital for treatment.

Police have one person in custody, though Williams said Monday he has not yet been charged.
