Its Official - Fedora is going to UNC

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The University of North Carolina confirmed today what most everyone already knew; Larry Fedora will be the new Tar Heels head football coach.

The UNC Board of Trustees is expected to approve the hiring Friday morning and a news conference is scheduled for 1pm Friday afternoon.

Fedora led the Golden Eagles to an 11-2 record and the Conference USA championship this season. The team will face Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl December 24th.
