We've had some chilly weather this weekend, but, as a new week begins, our weather pattern will change.
Temperatures will remain at or above freezing tonight. We'll start off clear, but some clouds will develop by morning. Highs on Monday will come close to 60. By Tuesday, highs will reach the middle 60s.
The warming trend continues through the week. It will feel almost like Spring on Wednesday and Thursday, as highs reach the 70s!
Late week and next weekend, the forecast is quite complicated. There will be a cold front just west of our area. The front will move into the area Thursday into Friday. The big question is if the front will move through the area, stall, or move back north. Right now, I believe the front will slowly move into our area, then stall briefly, before lifting back north. This means we'll have a couple of days of rain, followed by a brief stint of cooler weather across central and north Mississippi, then warming up and drying out for a couple of days.
We have a lot of time to watch the late week system and adjust the forecast. If you have plans late week and next weekend, you'll want to check back with us through the week as we fine tune the weather details.
Have a great week!
