Favre headed to Pearl River Community College

Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen says redshirt freshman quarterback Dylan Favre has decided to leave the team and transfer. Brett Favre's nephew told the Biloxi Sun Herald he will transfer to Pearl River Community College, where he will have one year of eligibility on the JUCO level.

Favre spent most of the season stuck behind Chris Relf and Tyler Russell on the depth chart.

He played sparingly, completing 13 of 25 passes for 119 yards and one TD. He also rushed for two touchdowns.
