PHOTO: Cop car runs into ditch rushing to school fight

YAZOO CITY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Yazoo City police cruiser ended up in a large ditch Monday responding to a fight at the Yazoo City High School. 

The accident happened at 15th Street near the baseball complex. 

A source tells WLBT he heard a detective tell the mayor that police had responded several times Monday to the school involving fights.  

This incident comes on the heels of a report Friday in which Greenville police used pepper spray on more than 50 students at Greenville-Weston High School after numerous fights were reported there.
