Two parole violators being questioned about Price shooting

Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two men, arrested by the Union County Sheriff's Department on a parole violation, are being questioned about the shooting death of Amanda Price.

Chief David Grisham tells WTVA that neither man has been charged in the case, but believes they will be as early as next week.

Chief Grisham isn't releasing the men's names, but says both are in their early 20s and live on East Bankhead Street, not far from the Price home.

The chief wouldn't confirm a weapon had been recovered, but sources tell WTVA one was recovered, and has apparently been sent to the state crime lab for testing.

Amanda Price was killed and her husband Ron wounded at their home December 6th.

Ron Price is the football coach at New Albany High School.
