Golden Eagles are Happy to be in Hawaii

HATTIESBURG, MS (WLBT) - The Southern Miss football team is in Hawaii getting ready for its bowl game against Nevada.

Southern Miss loaded the buses Sunday morning to start its trek west for its December 24th Sheraton Hawaii Bowl against the Nevada Wolfpack.

The team touched down in Hawaii Sunday night.

This starts the beginning of the end for Coach Larry Fedora at USM.

The Hawaii Bowl will be his last game at the school before moving to the University of North Carolina.
