JACKSON, MS - John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

God sent His Son to be born, live and teach, die and rise again so that we might have a right to eternal life.

The last three months of the year have three of the most popular days of the year: Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween.

The word Thanksgiving has 12 letters.

The word Halloween has 9 letters, but the word Christmas only has 8 letters.

However, many in the world choose to abbreviate Christmas to "Xmas".

In essence, we are "X"-ing Christ out of Christmas.

Over in Bethlehem there was no room for Christ in the inn.

Here in Mississippi let's make room for Christ and let's make time in our conversation, our hearts and our minds. Happy birthday to Jesus and Merry Christmas to all.
