1-20 east bound at Edwards has reopened

EDWARDS, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A fiery accident just before 2PM shut down the two eastbound lanes of I-20 near Edwards for about a hour today.

A pickup truck in the crash was consumed by flames but the driver was not injured.

Another vehicle landed in a ditch but that driver also suffered no injuries.

 Eastbound Traffic was rerouted to the frontage road to the next exit.
