A Jackson Public school bus was involved in a minor wreck Friday afternoon around 4:30 p.m.
The bus tried to make a tight turn and hit an SUV stopped at the intersection of Canterbury and Shannon Dale Drives.
There were no children on the bus and the driver was not hurt. The driver of the SUV and her sister were emotionally shaken up by the incident.
"I thought he was going to keep going. It's like when he hit he just kept going. He kept pushing us backwards. My little sister was screaming and that made my nerves worse," said Jasmin Currie, driver of the SUV.
An official with the Jackson Public School District was on the scene, but would not talk on camera.
He says they will review the police report as part of their investigation. After their review, a decision will be made as to what action, if any, should be taken against the driver of the bus.
