Jackson Police are not releasing many details about the man wanted for a rape in south Jackson on New Year's morning.
Police say the female victim was sitting in her car in the parking lot of the Kroger on Terry Road around 2:25 a.m Sunday morning. The grocery store was closed at the time. She told officers the man forced her into his car, then struck her in the face. He then drove across the street behind the Dollar General where he raped her.
Investigators have no description of his car and would only say he was a black male.
