This week's forecast

Posted: Updated:

Scattered showers and isolated storms will diminish this evening, with only slight rain chances overnight. Lows in the 50s to lower 60s.

We'll stay in an active pattern for much of this week. Rain chances will continue Monday and Tuesday, with a few storms possible as well. I'm not overly concerned with the chance for severe weather, but some strong storms will be possible on Tuesday. Temperatures remain in the 60s and 70s for highs.

Rain will move out on Wednesday, but clouds will hang on as cooler air filters in.

The late week weather pattern is quite uncertain. Some data suggests a low may form in the Gulf, giving way to clouds and rain in our area Thursday into Friday, along with cool temperatures. Other data suggests high pressure building in, drying us out and giving us chilly temperatures. Either way the 70s we've enjoyed this weekend will fade away this week with cooler air more certain.
